How do I view/download attachments from patients?

When you receive an image or document from a patient, it'll just show the file name in the chat bubble with no preview. This is for privacy reasons, as we know a lot of staff terminals are in public facing areas like treatment rooms.

Viewing and downloading attachments

  1. Click on the file in the chat bubble
  2. The file will open in a preview window.* Right click on the file.
  3. Click Save Image As...
  4. Choose the folder into which you want to save the file and click Save

* Some file types, like Word Docs, may not open in a preview window and will instead download directly to your browser's downloads folder.
