How patients can add more than one clinic to their Salve account (Multi-Clinic Login)
⚠️ Important: This feature is currently in a limited pilot stage and only available to patients at a select few clinics.
What is Multi-Clinic Login?
Multi-Clinic Login gives patients the option to add more than one clinic to their Salve account, and then swap contexts between their added clinics.
Who can use Multi-Clinic Login?
This is a very new feature, and so we are only piloting it at select clinics at this time.
At the moment, patients at the following clinics can use Multi-Clinic Login:
- Care Birmingham
- Care Cheshire
- Care Leeds
- Care Liverpool
- Care Manchester
- Care Tamworth
We are adding more clinics continuously and will keep this list updated until Multi-Clinic Login is available everywhere!
How do patients add another clinic?
As long as they are patients at the clinics listed above, they can add a clinic as follows:
- They must have an existing Salve account against one of the clinics listed above
- While logged in to the Salve mobile app, they should tap on the clinic's logo on the home screen to open up their My Clinics drawer
- Once the drawer is open, they should tap on Add a clinic
- From here, they can enter the invite code of the clinic they want to add and follow the on-screen instructions
Note: Currently, patients need to use the mobile app to add a clinic; it cannot be done via the web portal at this time – but they will be able to view all their clinics in the web portal once they're added via the app.
What are the limitations of Multi-Clinic Login?
1) Region/country
Patients can only add clinics in the same region as their first clinic.
Our regions are currently split as follows:
- APAC South: Australia, Pacific Islands, New Zealand
- Central Europe: Germany, Portugal, Spain,
- UK: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales
- Republic of Ireland
- US East: D.C., Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Virginia
- US West: California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas
❌ Won't work:
- Jane creates their Salve account using the clinic code from Clinic A in the UK
- Jane wants to add Clinic B in Spain
- Jane cannot add Clinic B, because Clinic A and Clinic B are in different regions (UK and Central Europe)
⭕️ Will work:
- Kharo creates their Salve account against Clinic 1 in Colorado
- Kharo wants to add Clinic 2 in Oregon
- Kharo can add Clinic 2 to their account because both clinics are in the US West region
2) Clinic availability
As mentioned, we are rolling this feature out slowly and it isn't currently available for all patients at all clinics. Please check the list in the Who can use Multi-Clinic Login? section for a current list of included clinics.
