How do I search for messages?

There are now filters in place to help you easily find your conversations. Keep reading to find out how to use filtering in messages!

Searching

How to search all messages:
  1. Navigate to bottom of the message folder list
  2. Select All messages folder 
  3. Type in search query into search bar at the top of the conversations list

You can search by:

  • message content
  • message folder name
  • patient name
  • patient ID 

As the search terms are typed, results will be shown in the inbox list

You can clear the search field by clicking on the  at the right end of the search bar.

How to search resolved messages 

  1. Navigate to bottom of the message folder list
  2. Select All resolved folder 
  3. Type in search query into search bar at the top of the conversations list

You can search by:

  • message content
  • message folder name
  • patient name
  • patient ID 

As the search terms are typed, results will be shown in the inbox list

You can clear the search field by clicking on the  X at the right end of the search bar.

How to search in message folders
  1. Select relevant folder 
  2. Type in search query into search bar at the top of the conversations list

You can search by: 

  • message content
  • message folder name
  • patient name
  • patient ID 

Search will automatically search all messages regardless of which folder you're currently in. As the search terms are typed, results will be shown in the inbox list 

You can clear the search field by clicking on the  X at the right end of the search bar.

Filtering

When you open the Messages tab, the page will be filtered by a list of all unresolved conversations by default.

To remove this Unresolved filter, just click on the X in the unresolved chip.

When viewing  All messages or All unresolved conversation lists, you will be able to see purple chips with the conversations' message folder name.

How to filter all messages
  1. Navigate to bottom of the message folder list
  2. Select All messages folder 
  3. Click on the tuning icon in the search bar

You can filter by one or more:

  • message folders
  • message statuses (resolved/unresolved)

Once you have applied your chosen filters, click on Apply. This will load conversations in a list that match the applied filters.

To clear your filters you can click on the folder chip and click Clear all, and click the X on the status chip.

How to filter messages in a folder

To filter messages by a specific folder, you can either:

  • click on the filter icon in the search bar 
  • navigate to your chosen message folder and click on the filter icon

You can filter by one or more:

  • message folders
  • message statuses (resolved/unresolved)

Once you have applied your chosen filters, click on Apply. This will load conversations in a list that match the applied filters.

To clear your filters you can click on the folder chip and click  Clear all, and click the X on the status chip.
